Jill was recently in a home, but needed to be returned due to family allergies. She is a wonderful, well behaved girl that is crate trained / house broken. Her previous family says that She is a sweet, very smart dog. She is learning to sit for her treats, does really super during storms with no howling or barking, and loves to just nap in her crate (with the door open) or on the couch. She sleeps well in her crate with no fussing. I have found her to be surprisingly not overactive like many JRTs. She gets along fine with other dogs, and likes to play with them. She would likely be a good companion dog for another dog. She seems to be a little timid around men and young kids at first, but warms up once she doesn't feel threatened. Jill is a wonderful young girl who would love a family of her own. She has wonderful manners and would be fine in any home situation.

Please give her a chance at a forever home. Adoption fee of $75

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jill, a Columbia Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
