Oreo's Story...
I am friendly, loving, and kind-of-chatty cat. Sometimes when I meow I sound like a bird. Other times it sounds like I'm saying "hello!!”. I like to look out the window and relax. When I see you sitting on your recliner, I will jump up and snuggle on your lap and like being petted. I also love treats - the minute that bag opens I jump right over to it. And I can hear that bag rip a mile away. So…waddayasay…can I move in with you now? You will not be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
