Melinka's Info...

Melinka's Story...
Melinka is a very sweet 4-5 year old English Mastiff. She does well with other dogs but prefers a low key companion as she doesn't like to rough house with dogs very often. She does get frisky in the yard and likes to run around and explore as long as there's a person outside with her. The minute her humans go in the house she wants to be inside too. She loves people and never meets a stranger. Melinka thinks that she's a lap dog and if you'll let her she'll drape herself across your lap while you watch TV. If you're looking for a big girl that wants to cuddle and follow you around all day this is your girl.

If you have questions about our adoption policies and procedures, please go to our website at www.peacefulpawsrescue.org. Our adoption application is on our website as well. We are not a shelter and do not have a facility. You will not be able to meet any of our foster dogs until you've completed an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melinka, a Phoenixville English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Mastiff for sale in Phoenixville, or seeking a English Mastiff dog from a breeder in Phoenixville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenixville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenixville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Mastiff breeders who help with English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenixville paves the way for another one to be saved.
