Ginny's Story...
Ginny was rescued from a terrible case of near starvation. When Ginny was brought to the shelter down South, she had a nasty wound on her back foot. The result, most likely, of her foot getting caught in a trap. She was also extremely thin. She is on her way back to health. She is gaining weight. Her wound is still on the mend, but she's receiving all the medical attention she needs to make a full recovery. She's even rocking a bandage that matches her bandana! Her gentle, sweet personality is in tact. She is 2-3 years old and little is known about her background. Please help Ginny find the loving home she deservesShe weights about 45 lbs and should gain another 15 to look her best. She is a charmer!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Sparta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sparta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sparta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sparta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sparta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sparta paves the way for another one to be saved.
