Howie's Story...
Hi folks. My name is Howie.
I am a handsome 15 inch beagle boy. I am about two years old. I live with six other doggies in a foster home. I really like it here.
I used to live at the animal shelter. I lived there for nine months! Everyday I met people I thought might take me home. But I was passed by time after time. Finally a family adopted me! I was SO happy! But then just five days later I got lost and ended up back at the shelter. My family never came for me nor did they return the shelter's calls when they tried to contact them. Then I got the break I deserved. Midwest BREW came to my rescue!
My foster mom says I am a joy to have as a house guest. I am still learning how to be a house beag, but I am doing great! I am crate trained, housetrained, I have learned the invisible fence too. I get along with all my foster brothers and sisters.
I love just hanging out on the couch. I also like walks and I like to ride in the car. Foster mom can't believe how well I walk on leash. I will go as fast or slow as you want. I don't bark at things I see outside, but I do let out a joyful arroo when I meet someone or when my foster family gets home. I'm just a really happy boy! I guess I would consider myself medium energy. I'm pretty laid back and easy going.
If you would like to know more about me just let BREW know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Novi Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Novi, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Novi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novi paves the way for another one to be saved.
