Ben's Story...
Hey there I am Ben of the famous Ben & Jerry puppies! I am the smaller of us & boy does my brother Jerry let me know it. He is always stealing my toys even when he has his own! Brothers! But I do love cuddling up with him at night. I am more of the lover & a bit of the baby. I am more shy than Jerry but love to snuggle. I am chi-terrier & won’t be a big shedder.
In fact I won’t be big at all except for loving on you! Come adopt me & I promise not to steal your Chunky Monkey.

Ben is around 3 months old and about 5lbs. He is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Houston Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
