Robin's Story...
Robin is a 10 month 30 pound old border collie mix . She is a lot smaller than her pictures show. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs , and has a very playful energy. She does well in her crate. She loves to be outside and chase tennis balls or just run around with pals. She also loves to be in your lap and give kisses and she already knows how to sit give and give paw. there are no small children currently in her foster home, so we can not say how she will do with kids, however, she is very sweet, gentle and happy!
Robin has been seen by a vet and deamed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered.
An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at http://www.hope4paws.com/.
The application can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net
The adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Robin, a Plainfield Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
