Jerry's Story...
Hi my name is Jerry & I have a brother named Ben –yummy huh? I am a chi-terrier who is looking for a forever home. I love to play with toys but when I tire out I am a great lap pup.
I am working on house training but I am still a baby. I am really good at fetching & bringing you my toys. My foster mom thinks I am very clever. I promise not to eat your Cherry Garcia as long as you give me a doggie treat!

Jerry is around 3 months old and about 5lbs. He is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Meet our dogs! They will be available for adoption at our weekend adoption venues!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a Houston Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
