Stella's Story...
Stella was brought in the shelter with her 7 brothers and sisters when They were only a week old. Her eyes nor ears were open. She was immediately placed in foster care and bottle fed. Now at 4 1/2 weeks eating solid food and drinking formula from a bottle she is looking for her forever home. Though she won't be able to go to it for at least another 2-3 weeks around the middle of April. She is the quiet puppy of the litter. She is playful but is more of a snuggled and is the first pup to greet her foster mom good morning. She is definitely the submissive pup of the bunch. She looks the most rottweiler of the litter. Her hair is the shortest and least fluffy. If you are interested in meeting her please email Dana: daykahn@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Baton Rouge Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
