Maverick (Pending)'s Story...
Maverick was rescued on the very day that he was to have been euthanized! His rescuer was visiting the high kill facility to pull another litter of pups but saw Maverick and his sister and ended up leaving with more puppies than she expected! One look at handsome Maverick and his siblings and there was no way she was leaving them behind to die.

Now the pups are fostered by their rescuer. They get daily off leash playtime (and are excellent at returning when called) as well as daily walks on leash. Maverick has great manners and is cheerful and obedient. He is learning basic commands and picks up on new skills quickly.

Maverick is 4 months old and already weighs about 30 pounds. He will complete his vetting and be ready to join his new family in May. Are you the lucky family for Maverick?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maverick (Pending), a Carlisle Pointer/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Great Dane for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Pointer/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Great Dane breeders who help with Pointer/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
