Buddy's Story...
My foster mom says that I'm a small pup with a big heart! I love to cuddle, but I also play well with other small dogs. I've never understood what "barking" is all about, so I just don't do it. I am also perfectly content sleeping in my kennel at night or when my foster parents are gone, but I'd love to snuggle up next to you in bed if you'll let me! My first home wasn't a very good one, and I ended up roaming the streets. I found myself at the shelter and was saved just in time! I'm now going through treatment for these nasty heartworms, but they'll be gone soon enough. If you're looking for a dog that likes to curl up on the couch and watch TV with you, I'm your boy! I have lots of love to give if you'll just take me home with you!

Buddy is up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee is $125 - a bargain for this cute little fellow!

Please email us to find out which adoption event Buddy will be attending this weekend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Houston Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
