My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Christy Schilling at cncschilling@gmail.com if you can assist in anyway.
This BEAUTIFUL boy, Archie was dumped in Elysian park and we could no longer see him roam the dangerous streets and park alone. We took him to the vet where of course no micro-chip was found. He was neutered, given all his shots, bathed and treated for mange. Thanks to the help of the network some donations were raised to help with his vet bills as well as his board and train where he still resides. In these past 2 months we have learned so much about Archie and Archie has learned, and is learning, so much. Even though he is only 2 years old he has the right balance of play and cuddle-good energy but knows how to chill. He is very treat motivated and gets along well with other dogs. Because of his size, a short legged 70 lbs, and his strength, he probably should not live with small pets (rabbits, cats and tiny dogs). He is hesitant of men at first but warms up nicely and really likes adults and children alike. Archie seemed to have never been in a house before but adapted quickly, is crate and is potty trained. He is improving on leash but still needs work when seeing other dogs. Archie seems to have not had a very good start at life and we desperately want that to change but we need your help. We would so appreciate any courtesy postings, networking, a foster, etc. that you can do to get Archie the forever happiness he so deserves.
