Richard Midnight's Story...
RICHARD ~ long legged, dapper and sweet!!

Richard is a well mannered and gentle soul ~ we guesstimate him to have been born in 2009 ~ a gorgeous, sleek black domestic short hair.

Richard was the loving companion of a single woman who has become to ill to take care of him; as a result he ended up outdoors and he just didn't belong there; his former owner really does want him to have the best possible life and has turned to Forgotten Felines to see if we can find him a loving family.

He is a laid back and very gentle cat ~ loves to be petted and will roll all over the floor on you and around you to let you know he is HAPPY. He gets along well with other cats as long as they are not aggressive and dominant ~ he really has no mean bone in his body and as a result, he is just one big sweetheart that doesn't know how to defend himself.

Since coming to Forgotten Felines, Richard has had a thorough physical, including blood work and updated shots. He is healthy and ready for a new lease on life.

Richard would do well as an only cat ~ loves to snuggle and cuddle ~ will probably make an awesome bed buddy if that is what you want : ) His favorite hobbies include birdwatching and playing with his toys.

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, Richard is neutered and he is current on his tests and shots. For more detailed information about his purrsonalities, please contact their foster parents, Sarah and Dan at 256-658-3885 or email info@ffhsv.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Richard Midnight, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
