My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Rustie came to the SPCA with her two kittens when a concerned citizen found them out in the cold in Lansing. Rustie is a very shy girl who takes some time to warm up to you. But once she trusts you she becomes very sweet and affectionate. Rustie LOVES to have her cheeks and the base of her ears scratched HARD! She has gotten a little less skittish since arriving here, but will still need a quiet home without young children, a home where she can learn to appreciate an approaching hand as the instrument of petting and loving, where she can develop her purring skills. Rustie may always be skittish, and unappreciative of visitors, but she's a sweet girl just waiting for the right person to bring out the best in her. Might that be you?
