Marilyn's Story...
Marilyn is a tiny adorable Chihuahua Dachshund mix. She weighs 5.6lbs. and is just a year old. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She is up to date on vaccinations, been spayed, tested negative for heartworms and started on preventative. She is located in Birmingham. She will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 10 or with a dog weighing more than 20lbs. Marilyn’s adoption donation is $150. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” your new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you would like to adopt this sweet baby, please submit your APPLICATION @ www.littlebitsrescue.org.

We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marilyn, a Mooy Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Mooy, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mooy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mooy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mooy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mooy paves the way for another one to be saved.
