Sage (Adoption Pending)'s Story...
Sage and her siblings were rescued from a high kill facility when they had less than an hour to live. A rescuer had visited the facility to pull another litter of pups and saw their sweet faces and could not leave them behind! Now they live with that rescuer and have turned out to be the best pups you could ever hope to meet!
They are leash walked daily and are excellent on the leash because of it. They also get plenty of off leash play time are very obedient to return to their foster's when called. They are learning basic commands and pick up on new skills with ease.

Sage is 20 pounds at 4 months of age (as of 3/28).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sage (Adoption Pending), a Jackson Pointer/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Great Dane for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Pointer/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Great Dane breeders who help with Pointer/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
