Hi there! Our names are Buster Bleu, Piper Parmesan, Mickey Muenster, Chester Cheddar and Howie Havarti….we’re the cheese family!! Our poor mom (Brie) was hit by a car but she survived; she remains quite feral and has some residual head trauma issues. We’re siblings and are looking for our forever home! Our story has an altogether familiar sound: our mom was a feral cat at an apartment complex who got pregnant. We think Mom had been hit by a car twice ~ she appeared dead at first glance and then would pop up and wobble to a new location. She will live her life as a permanent foster and be safe and comfortable.

We are gentle, sweet, playful and loving siblings; great with other cats and nice dogs given time. We love toys of all kinds, but especially feather toys. We’re all dolls… just ask our foster mom! Do you need someone to bring a smile to your face? Do you need to laugh more? If so, we will fill your life with joy and happiness….. PROMISE! Come meet us…. You’ll see! We love attention and we love our people…. and love being taken care of. Do you have room in your home and heart for us? If so, you won’t regret it! If you have any questions about us, please call our foster mom, Michelle, at 256-837-4627 or 256-520-2517.

Would like to be adopted with a sibling if possible? I would prefer they not be only children but check with foster mom….

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper Parmesan, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
