Piper is a beautiful 6 y/o chocolate female who came back to HBHR because of anxiety issues. She is currently in a foster home that has 5 other beagles and a dog door with easy access to the yard. That may be all that this girl needed. She has not shown any signs of anxiety.

At 15 inches, Piper has kept her girlish figure and weighs only 27 lbs. Piper is fast and loves showing off in games of chase. The younger dogs can’t keep up with this sleek beauty! Her favorite wrestling buddy is 2 y/o Orbit and they do make a pair! Piper is very playful and gets along with everyone, especially the 4 month old pup that joined the pack. She is excellent with children, but will need a canine buddy to keep her company.

Piper is 100% housebroken and never needs to be kenneled. She sleeps at night on a dog bed, but does occasionally sleep on the big bed with her people. Piper has a wonderful deep bay that she uses rarely. She will alert you to strangers nearing the yard, but is quiet when stalking squirrels! Piper loves attention and pets, but is never in your face demanding. She is a sweet and loving dog who needs a family to make her life complete. Please apply today to come and meet Piper!
