Raleigh's Story...
Raleigh's favorite sport is floor-swimming. He will lay on his back on the floor and when he's happy, he'll roll side-to-side and wiggle his arms and legs in the air -- kinda like an up-side-down turtle! He loves belly rubs and will flop right over at your feet to tell you that it's time for some tickles. If you're sitting down, he loves to rub his face on your chin and nuzzle in your neck. This boy is all about getting love from his people, and he's not shy about asking for it. He is about one year old, brown tabby.

Raleigh is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated against distemper and rabies, combo-tested negative for FIV/Leuk, and treated for all parasites.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raleigh, a Addison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Addison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Addison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Addison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Addison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Addison paves the way for another one to be saved.
