Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a 8-10 week old chihuahua mix. She weighs about 6 lbs. now so she shouldn't be over 20 lbs. full grown. She's a lovebug and just wants to be held all the time if possible. She was picked up as a stray by animal control and we rescued her to keep her out of the freezing temperature we have been having lately. Puppies don't do well at animal control in freezing kennels. Rosie will be UTD with shots, spayed and on heartworm preventative before going to her furever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Ormond Beach Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ormond Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Ormond Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ormond Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ormond Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ormond Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
