Dot's Story...
Hi!!! My name is Dot!!! My mom (Debbie) came to the shelter when she wandered up to a very nice man's yard. He kept her safe until he could bring her to the shelter. Just a few short days later, I came along with my brothers (Dillan, Daniel, Dozier, and Drake) and my sister (Peony). The shelter life is all we know since we were born here, but we would love to experience life with our own back yard and our very own family to play with in a few weeks when we are available for adoption! Please come see if you can give us a life outside of the shelter!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dot, a Batesville Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Batesville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Batesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
