Rosie's Story...
Meet our special girl Rosie! She is a 5 month old pitty girl with Color Dilution Alopecia. She is mostly hairless! She will be like this all her life. She is SO special! She doesn't have hair to protect her so she will need a special home that will make sure she's not exposed to the elements. She is such a sweet girl!

All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (if old enough) and microchipped. The adoption fee for all dogs is $150. If you are interested in one of our dog please go to www.oneliferescueandrehab.org and fill out our adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Edmond American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Edmond, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
