Comet's Story...
Hey everyone out there, my name’s Comet and I’m just a lonely little guy. I am the last one left out of a litter of five, and I don’t understand why I am the only one. I am a super-cute 8-week old boy dressed in a fancy tuxedo and I think I might be medium haired once I am full grown, too. I am lovable and adorable and I just love to run around and play. Since I am so lonely I would be very happy to go home with another cat-friendly animal or another kitten from CARE. Please consider adopting me, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Star, Celeste, Aurora, Comet are all adopted!!!

Hi there, our names are Star, Celeste, Aurora, Comet, and Cosmo. We are the ultimate Universe kitties about 8 weeks old. CARE took us in because our previous owners couldn’t keep us anymore. We are super-cute, lovable tabby-tuxedo kittens who will probably medium haired once we are full grown. My name is Star and I will speak for the group because although I am the smallest, I also am the bravest and boldest, and always first to get into everything. My sister Aurora is never far behind. I am a lovely little lap kitty. My brother Cosmo is a little bit on the shy side but will quickly warm up to you. We love to tumble, wrestle, chase, and play with each other. We all love each other dearly and would be happy to go in pairs, or with another-cat friendly animal. Please consider adopting a perfect little tuxedo kitten (or two!) from our family. We promise you won’t be disappointed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
