Gambit's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to Click Here and fill out an application.

Gambit is a 12-year-old seal point Siamese cat. He and his sister, Bally, have been coddled since their owner got them nearly 12 years ago. Sadly, their owner passed away last fall after a lengthy illness, and their foster person is not able to keep them because of severe allergies.

Gambit is intelligent, curious, friendly and very cuddly. He has some issues with chronic constipation, which he takes medicine for, and is on a vet-prescribed Medi-Cal diet, but is otherwise a healthy, big boy. He is very docile, but is frightened of very small children and dogs.

Gambit and Bally are bonded and need to be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gambit, a Vancouver Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
