|This is Simon a 1 1/2 yr., Chi/Corgi Mix, Male, White. Simon is a sweet boy who appears to have been hit by a car while he was a stray. He was fully vetted after the accident in which he suffered a broken tail head. As a result he can be a little sensitive about being touched or handled near his backend area. Initially Simon would not use his back legs to walk but now he not only walks but runs and plays. He is friendly and out going, but can show a little timidness with certain people, but generally just initially.|

Help this Shelter by making a donation.
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip.
Go to www.homefurgood.org to see where you can meet our available pets.
We do adoptions from shelter every Thursday 11:30am to 3:30 pm and we are at Petsmart Tatum and Shea every weekend; Fri. 1:00 - 6:00, Sat. & Sun. 10:30 - 4:30. Please check our website for more specifics.
Home Fur Good requires an approved application. We have trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$275 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and come with 30 days of pet health insurance.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.
