Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Ginger's Story...
Ginger came to us very thin and very shy. She is a sweet and loving dog, has great house manners and would love to be your baby. A very quiet girl who rarely barks, and wants to spend all of her time curled up next to you. Will always greet you at the door with her smiling eyes and wagging tail. She walks great on leash, is great with other dogs and cats, and we're working on bringing her up to weight. She's 5 1/2 pounds at this time and under five years of age. Ginger is spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are up to date. If you would like to meet Ginger please fill out an application at www.ChihuahuaRescueOfSanDiego.com and someone will call you regarding adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
