Oh, so soft! Oh, so beautiful! Oh, so shy! Meghan is one of those drop-dead gorgeous little girls who evidently had a terrifying beginning to her life. She will need a quiet, cat-savvy household that is willing to take on a “work in progress” kitten. While she is improving daily, she is also quick to overstimulation. She bonded with her foster mom’s Maine Coon in the first few days, so she is not averse to other friendly cats. She purrs when she is quietly stroked, brushed, and scratched and, indeed, asks for more, so there is a loving heart to be developed here. Meghan loves to play; she will play by herself with mouse toys; she will play with her foster mom with the kitty tease; she loves Danny, the Maine Coon, and they are beginning to run together as he teaches her that she can play without being instantly defensive. Meghan is even beginning to ask her foster mom for play time.

We think she would do best with another playful, very confident kitten or cat as her first bond, tall kitty towers, and a patient, experienced human who can carefully continue to develop the trust needed for the human bond!
