Sebastian's Story...
14 lb, 13-14" high chocolate 1 year old male.

DOG_COMMENTS: Sebastian seems to be a very healthy handsome little man who is super excited about life and ready to attach to whomever is willing to love him. I would guess he'd be great around kids or anyone because when I walk him, he's very attentive of people but doesn't bark, just wants to check everything out. He seems comfortable with men and women. He hasn't been on a leash before but is already picking it up easily. He's VERY smart and seems to adjust really quickly. He's at my heels at all times when I'm wandering around the house but very calm indoors. He maybe a 'bolter' though as he can wiggle out of his collar/harness in a second and takes off. Sebastian used to living with 11 other miniature pinchers so he is fine with other dogs and just needs a lot of love. He's curious and excited about life. He gets scared when big dogs bark at him so he will bolt pretty fast, therefore he need a solid harness. He's always at his foster parents heels and loves to cuddle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Castle Rock Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Castle Rock, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Castle Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castle Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castle Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castle Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
