Pancake's Story...
Pancake is ADORABLE!! In January we rescued Pancake's mom from euthanasia at the county shelter. We thought her tummy looked suspiciously large, and sure enough 2 weeks later she had three beautiful puppies. Mama is a corgi mix that is 26 lbs. We have no idea who the father is. Judging by the size of Pancake, she will be around 20-30 lbs when full grown. Pancake is well socialized and is good with other dogs and with children. The family who adopts her will be very lucky, as she will bring much love and joy to his household! Pancake's adoption fee is $250 and that includes spay, microchip and up-to-date on DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Pancake, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pancake, a Phoenix Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Corgi puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
