Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a 6 yr old boy who loves to play ball! He adores children and cleaning their faces as well! Jackson is gentle with kitties and as good house manners. He has good leash manners but will take advantage of someone who does not enforce them. This guy barks at other dogs on leash but this behaviour is curbed with a Halti. He barks at the door when new people come but welcomes everyone in with a wagging tail and a big kiss. Jackson is very good off leash and loves to play ball with his kids at the park. This big guy is hoping for a family with kids to play with and protect!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Welland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Welland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Welland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Welland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Welland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Welland paves the way for another one to be saved.
