Tiger Lily's Story...
Tiger Lily is approx 8 months old (as of April 2013) and is as sweet as can be. She is a petite girl and is full of love. She is timid when she first meets you and then quickly warms up. She loves to be petted and loved on. She does well with other cats and dogs too. This friendly girl was rescued as she was trying to survive as a stray all alone- she was hungry and scared. But now she is safe and happy as she patiently waits to be adopted. She is now spayed, vaccinated, FeLv tested (negative), litter-box/housetrained and she is been treated with a monthly preventative for ear mites, fleas and worms. Tiger Lily is ready to find a loving, forever home to call her very own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger Lily, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
