Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Collin is a 15 inch, 31 pound, 6 year old tri-color male. His past is a mystery as he was dropped off at a shelter during the night. However, it is obvious this guy was loved very much. He is a calm, affectionate beagle who loves to sit on your lap.
Collin can use a doggy door or can let you know when he needs to go out. He gets along great in the multi dog household which is his foster home. This sweet boy would fit well into any household who wants a middle age, loving beagle, including an apartment situation or anyone adopting their first beagle.
Collin was recently found to have low thyroid function and will need 2 small, inexpensive pills with breakfast and dinner each day for the rest of his life. The good news is, with proper exercise and medication he should start to lose some weight and might not need the pills, after all. This dog is a true jewel, please complete an application on our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org, and come meet him.
