My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone. My name is Bella. I'm a great little classic fawn girl who is just 4 years old; I say little because I am just 50 lbs. Oh, and I have a full, waggly boxer tail. I hear that's unusual. My foster mom says I am terrific with children and cats, but my surrendering owners said I was having trouble with the other female boxer in the home. We were getting along well for several years, but things suddenly changed when a third dog came into the home. In any case, even though I'm getting along very well with all my foster siblings (including a girl), my foster mom says that it would probably be best if I were an only dog. I'm having a great time here with my foster family. I'm a good girl, who's fully crate-trained, but I don't need to be in one because I don't get into anything I'm not supposed to. And of course I'm completely potty-trained. My foster mom says I'm very confident and very obedient. I love toys and when I meet new people, I'll usually bring them one. "Let's play!" I'm saying. I like hanging out indoors, but I also like going outside. At my old house there was a pool and even though I hear that not all boxers are crazy about the water, I'm actually a good swimmer! Whoever adopts me needs to know that I'm on thyroid medicine. My old owners just dropped it in my food and I ate it with no problem. My foster mom puts it in a spoonful of canned food, and I'll eat the medicine that way with no problem either. If you're interested in getting to know me, be sure to ask for Bella Gem. I'm really looking forward to starting life with my furever family soon!
