Abby's Story...
Abbey is an adorable 1.5 year old; she is likely a spaniel chow mix. She has a moderate amount of energy, and loves to take walks through the park. (Her energy levels are increasing as she loses some weight)! Abbey loves her crate and will happily spend the entire night in there. Training and focus have been improving, and her leash manners are wonderful, but she will need continued consistency.

Abbey has a lot of love to give! One of her favorite spots is curled up by me feet as I relax in the evening. She will take as much attention as you will give her and then some. She is wonderfully quirky with an adorable under-bite and seems to love to make these little snorting noises for no particular reason. She also has an adorable bum wiggle when you come home to her after a long day, and will make a wonderful addition to a fun loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Saskatoon Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
