Juno's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Juno's Story...
'm a great catch. Why? Because I am older, more experienced, walk like a dream on a leash and pay close attention to my humans and get along with other dogs and older kids. I'm an 8 year old Lab/Rottweiler cross and I am smart, loyal, very pretty, and a great companion.

I take a bit of time to settle into a new home, and that makes sense, since it's all new to me. But as soon as I get the lay of the land, the house rhythms and people, I settle in and am relaxed and quiet. I am a really loyal girl, just looking for a home that will tell me what a good girl I am and spend time with me. I'd love going for a walk with you too. We can chat along the way and get to know one another better.

I am great on a leash and do not pull you down the block and stretch your arm out, and I don't tug to go off on my own either. I am really a good dog.

You know what? Why don't you and I get together and talk for a bit. We can discuss the details of what toys I like, how you like to snuggle and how we can be the best team ever. Come meet me and bring a special treat. That would totally rock it. Looking forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Saskatoon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
