Kenzie's Story...
Kenzie is a wonderful young dog. She's roughly 10 months of age and about 19 inches at the shoulder. Kenzie is a sweetie!! She is a super cuddler and loves loves loves to be in your lap! She loves people and other dogs. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is quite submissive with them. Kenzie loves playing with toys and loves to carry something around in her mouth. Kenzie is looking for an active family. She would love to go to the dog park too. She's a beautiful girl with a wonderful personality and would do well with a family who would like a fun loving dog!
Kenzie can be mouthy and jumps up but we are working on it. Kenzie is also working on some basic obedience. While it does not appear that Kenzie has had a lot of training she is just a lovely dog with a wonderful temperament and personality.
Please note: the photos were taken before Kenzie arrived in foster care. She does not wear a choke collar and NHDR does not encourage the use of these devices. Kenzie responds well to positive reinforcement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenzie, a Saskatoon Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
