Hi Everybody!
Whoever said that good things don’t come in medium sized packages (or something like that) never met me! My name is Timothy and I’m a four year old love bug who is over-the-moon having people who love to give and receive affection as much as I do. Mom says I’m like a baby in a bichon body ‘cause I love being held and carried. And while I weigh about 18 pounds, I’m both light and lean. And when I cuddle, well Mom says she’s not sure who is happier: her or me!
Let me paint a picture of my perfect day for you. First of all, I always wake up (in Mom and Dad’s bed, of course) with a great big smile on my face because I am so happy to be loved and adored! Mom makes a special breakfast for me (because I am her special little guy.) After breakfast I like to play. And by play I mean hang out with Mom, Dad and some toys. My favorite toys are the soft ones. And I’m not picky at all! I have also been known to have fun with an old sock, as long as I’m allowed to chew it, of course!
Then there is this game we like to play. Mom throws the toy and asks me to bring it back. I humor her and play along (but that’s really just so I can get close to her.) She hasn’t caught on yet so we can play her game for quite a while. She also likes it when I nudge her hand then roll over for a nice, looooong belly rub. I thank her by giving her gentle kisses.
After play time I’m ready for a good nap. I am an excellent sleeper and the big people’s bed is my favorite place to catch up on my beauty rest. The perfect afternoon or evening always includes a good walk followed by another home cooked meal, some quality time with Mom and Dad -- then a good night sleep. Being a FurKid is the best gig in town!
Here are a few other things you should know about me. I’m incredibly happy, handsome and housebroken! (Dad agrees and says I’m not bragging!) I’m learning my commands and am pretty good at the “sit” and “stay” already. I would probably be fine in a home where I am the only pup, as long as I have a lot of human companionship.
So if my idea of the perfect day sounds good to you, please ask to meet Timothy Lambie. That’s Mom’s nickname for me because she says I have gorgeous, soft, curly white hair that reminds her of a sweet, little lamb.
