Apollo's Story...
Meet Apollo. He is a lab/hound mix. Apollo is yellow in color, and has white feet, chest, and tip of his tail. He is about 10 weeks old and weighs 15 lbs. We think he will be on the large size when he is full-grown as he has huge paws. He was neutered today. He had his first set of shots, bordetella, and dewormer already. Adoption fee of $200. He is fostered with Kristen and Amy in Clearwater.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Largo Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
