Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings new friends!
My name is Harley and I'm a little bichon mix who is two years old. I am being fostered in Lake Elsinore and love it here! Once upon a time, I belonged to a little old lady who was not able to properly care for me. She couldn’t take me for walks or runs – and I never got to see or play with other FurKids either. I found a new friend at the vet’s office and she called the nice people at Bichon FurKids. They rescued me and now I have a great foster mom and dad, two human brothers and a doggy foster brother. I'm as happy as could be.
My family discovered something that’s fun for all of us: I love to play. I chase my doggy foster brother around and around -- and play tug-of-war with him. Then I bring my special gray elephant to Mom or Dad so they can throw it for me, and I fetch it and bring it right back. (Dad says I’m really smart ‘cause he doesn’t have to go and get it for me!) I also play ‘chase’ with my human brothers. I chase them and they chase me back. It's so much fun! (Mom says to tell you that I’m amazing with kids!)
Dad says I can jump like a gazelle - and run like the wind. I tell him that I’m making up for lost time – and enjoying the freedom to be an active, young guy. Not to brag, but you should see me move! And I do everything with a big happy smile on my face.
I love to go on walks -- and rides in the car. I’m always eager to please. Mom says I'm trying to learn everything because I want my forever family to be proud of me. I’m crate trained and housebroken so I get to sleep on my human brother's bed at night. Wowee – do I love that. A big bed and a warm body! That’s wonderful. My bad haircut is growing out and soon I will look like the handsome boy I was meant to be (and not how that silly groomer groomed me to look either!)
Mom says the other things you should know about me are that I am obedient and sweet! She says I’m working on an ‘A’ in affection, too.
Do you have a place for an energetic, loving, sweet, playful and obedient little guy in your family? If you do, please write and ask for Harley.
Sending you lots of love and smiles,
Handsome and Happy Harley
