Shy URGENT! FOSTER NEEDED's Story...
Shy is a very sweet two year old female blue nose pit bull that was found wandering the streets of California about a year ago. Since then she has been living with a homeless man out of his car. The man is no longer able to care for her, so his sister took her in. However, his sister can not keep Shy much longer, and it will break her heart to have to bring her to the shelter. Shy is a good dog and a very sweet girl who deserves a real home. Being a pit bull in a shelter may very well mean death for Shy.

Shy is a loveable girl that just wants to be with people. She loves to sleep and snuggle. She does not like to be alone, and prefers to follow you where ever you go. The woman who currently has her call her "my lil shadow". Shy has not shown any aggression around people, food, dogs, or otherwise. She listens very well, is potty trained, and walks well on a leash too. She does not have any destructive habits, and is a bit of a "lazy" girl. She is currently living with another dog, and has done well with dogs she has met. She has also been around children before and did fine. However, she should not be in a home with cats.

Shy is 42 pounds, and not yet spayed (though we will have it done through the rescue).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shy URGENT! FOSTER NEEDED, a Livermore Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
