Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Laddie-Corgie/Lab Male
Please note this is a courtesy post, and is not a Helen's Haven pet. Please contact rescuebc@hotmail.com
Laddie came to Rescue from a high kill shelter as a little puppy. Just about the time he was old enough to be adopted he developed a twitch in one of his hind legs. We found out the litter had been exposed to distemper in the shelter. It claimed the life of 2 of his siblings but Laddie is a survivor. Now at 6 mo. of age, his leg is stable and he's been going to the Vet for acupuncture, which seems to be making a big difference in his ability to use his leg and slow down the twitches. He's continued to grow, be friendly, happy and playful. Everyone in Rescue is very optomistic about Laddy's future.
His adoption fee is $250 to help with the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
