Colonel (Lynx-point Himalayan)'s Story...
COLONEL (Lynx-point Himalayan)

I was lost and wandering the streets of Fayetteville. I was cold, hungry, scared and had no one to love me. So many people walked by me and ignored my cries for help. But then Holly saw me. She picked me up, held me, gave me some good food, water and made me warm. I will never forget the love she gave me and how important she made me feel again. But Holly couldn’t keep me so I ended up here at the Blue Moon Cat Shelter. I was checked over by the nice kitty doctor, given a new rabies shot, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms and mites and even micro-chipped and tested negative for feline leukemia. I’m about 4 years old. I like being around people, being in the middle of the activity and love to show affection. I could use a good shave to get rid of some mats, but that’s the easy part. My adoption fee is only $100. Call 479-677-3021.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colonel (Lynx-point Himalayan), a Witter Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Witter, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
