Serena was surrendered to ARC by owners. She is a typical 12 week old puppy with lots of energy, playful and gets along with people, other dogs and would make a wonderful family companion. Seems to be crate trained, eats dry/wet food and has first and second sets of vaccines and worming.

We are now showing our adoptable pets at Tractor Supply, off Hwy 29 in Concord, NC on Saturdays from 1-5 PM. Come and meet them, as well as, tell any friends or family about our rescue dogs and cats.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, rabies (age permitting) and microchipping. All dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated for parvo, etc. and rabies, HW tested and microchipped.

We don't know what these animals have gone through and endured, (or why) in their past lives to end up here. The only thing we can do is try, hope and pray we can give them a brighter future.
We want our rescued pets to have stable, loving homes where they can get lots of love, attention and live out the remainder of their lives.

Animal care can be costly. Please consider whether you can afford and want the responsibility of a pet before you adopt so they never have to be homeless and end up in a shelter again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
