Wiley's Story...
Hi, my name is Bud and I'm a 2 year old border collie mix. I'm a wonderful, sweet boy and love everyone. I'm very well behaved and know some commands. I'm house trained and ready for my new home. Just remember that i am a high energy herding breed and though I am pretty calm, I do need some exercise and things to do :)

If you'd like to apply for me, or any of my rescues other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiley, a Burbank Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
