Elena-VA's Story...
Elena is new to rescue. She was surrendered to a shelter in Baltimore, MD and they became overcrowded and contacted us to take her in. Elena was raised in a home with small children, and cats. She is also tested with dogs and does well. She is house broken and crate trained. She is still a puppy and like all Mastiffs requires a dedicated owner to her training and continued socialization. She loves human attention and likes nothing more then to give you kisses with her long tongue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elena-VA, a Virginia Beach Presa Canario dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Presa Canario for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Presa Canario dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Presa Canario breeders who help with Presa Canario rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
