Please look beyond all the shelter dirt and matting from lack of care on the coat of this 6 month old puppy. Tasha is going to be a shiny golden-coated girl with just touches of her silver Schnauzer relatives. Appropriate nutrition, grooming and love will make this shy girl shine. She also responds to gentle love. She's never had a soft hand and a caring hug...it slowly makes her blossom as she realizes it's real and special for her. Tasha currently weighs about 7 lbs but we feel she will be full grown at approximately 14 lbs. We would love a dedicated family for Tasha that will introduce her to puppy socialization followed by obedience classes. They will not only promote bonding with the family but will help her to be a lifelong good citizen. We would also like Tasha's adoptive family to be present and have the time to put into a strong and committed relationship with this pup who is open to all good things. We feel Tasha would do well with very gently canine friends and would most likely enjoy playing once she got settled in to her new home. It seems she would also enjoy children 8+ who would understand the need to be soft and loving with this gentle soul. Tasha is a non-shedding pup who would require periodic grooming to keep her coat healthy and matt free.

Tasha will be arriving on transport in Denver in mid-April. Applications are currently being accepted for this great companion and family member.
