Little Bit's Story...
Little Bit is a 7 year old beagle girl who is looking for a new home. She is good with children. She is a snuggle bug and absolutely loves to go for walks. Little Bit has nice house manners and is house-trained. She can be a little shy but loves to play by running around the yard and having someone chase her. Little is very affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is always right by your side! She would make a great companion dog! She is in a foster home with another dog. Cats are unknown. If you have been looking for an affectionate dog to keep you company, you really should check out Little Bit. Please complete an application at www.henricohumane.org to get started!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bit, a Richmond Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
