April's Story...
This little girl is only about 3-4mos old and was rescued with her mom and brother from a high kill shelter. She is an absolute cutie pie and loves to be with her person and be carried around or go explore. All our babies are raised with foster families and socialized with other pets and usually kids as well. Adoption donation of $300 to help with expenses of spay/neuter, first shots, deworming and microchip. Feel free to email us for an application! We are a small foster based non profit rescue and so all of our dogs are raised in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. On occasion if we have no foster available our dogs are in boarding to be able to save their lives from euthanasia until we can find their foster/forever homes. In 2012 our vet bills and boarding alone were over $52k. We operate solely off of donations to be able to keep saving all of these sweethearts from death row at the shelters. Donations are always appreciated to be able to help us keep saving lives. Thank you so much for considering a rescue dog for your new family member! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

April, a Seattle Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
