Violet-COURTESY POST's Story...
She is very relaxed and quiet--never tries to bolt out of the cage at
all. Very content to cuddle in her blankets. Will roll over for belly
rubs. However, she is in transition and is a tad shy and will duck just
a little bit when she sees a hand coming towards her, but as soon as she
is petted, she will nudge my hand, come forward and start purring. She
never hisses or cowers. I have seen her playing out where she used to
be too. I would say she needs a quiet home and someone to give her a
little time to blossom--I dont think it will take long. She should be
fine with other cats as she is used to them. She is on the small side
with petite features. I know black cats are common, but she is extra
pretty. --Kathy If interested in adopting Violet please email Kathy kshank@wowway.com or call her at 440-234-1994.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet-COURTESY POST, a Olmsted Falls American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Olmsted Falls, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Olmsted Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olmsted Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olmsted Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olmsted Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
