My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED 1-25-14; unavailable. Original bio is below:

Cooper is a Cockapoo - Cocker Spaniel & Poodle. He's 2.5 to 3 years old & weighs about 16 lbs. This handsome boy has the best of both breeds...highly intelligent, very mild mannered, easy to train, super sweet, friendly, happy & great with other dogs. Cockapoos are excellent family pets that love kids & are good for people with allergies. They don't shed & are non-allergenic. Coop has an outstanding temperament & personality. This delightful dog is good about everything. His foster parents have only wonderful things to say about him. Cooper is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, naturally treated for fleas/ticks, had vet exams, a dental by our vet, & has been professionally groomed. He's 100% potty trained (goes outdoors) & hasn't had any accidents at his foster home. He has soft, silky hair instead of fur. Cooper's best match home is with a family who have another small, younger dog & child/children who would play with him. He definitely loves being outside & needs a home with a good-size yard where he can explore, play & run around. He thinks it's super to take a nap on the grass in the warm sunshine after a play session. He can easily get over a 4' fence & needs a yard with a secure 6' tall fence. Coop also loves his people & wants to hang out with you. He's a great companion & an all-around fabulous dog. Cooper is great for adults or families with children (8-9 years & up who have dog experience & know how to properly treat a small dog) Cooper's adoption donation is $400 & includes his lifetime microchip registration.
